How to Pair or Sync Your New Evolve Remote

Riders Over 100kg / 220lbs

The maximum load for the majority of our boards is 100kgs / 220lbs and 120kgs / 265lbs for the Carbon Hadean.

Are the boards waterproof?

We do not rate any of our boards to be water-resistant but in newer models, we have made every effort we can to protect the electrical components in accidental situations.

Can you ride on the beach?

Riding on the beach has the potential for the sand to get stuck in the components and the corrosion from the saltwater may harm the board.

Do You Offer Trade-Ins?

Yes! We’ve launched a trial trade-in program in Australia. If you're looking to upgrade, check out the details here to see if your board qualifies. At this time, we do not offer trade-ins in these regions. If this changes in the future, we’ll be sure

Do the boards have reverse?

There is no reverse function on our boards. Just turn around and kickpush ;)

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Do you sell parts to turn a regular skateboard into an electric one?

Yes, we sell parts separately, but keep in mind that buying each component individually can get expensive—often adding up to nearly the cost of a complete board. Building your own electric skateboard requires technical knowledge, patience, and time.

Where is your Service Centre?

We have a Service Centre based in each distributor's country. We currently do not have any authorised Service Centres outside of these locations. Click for more.

How long will my board battery last before it needs replacing?

Lithium-Ion batteries can last up to 700-1000 cycles, however, capacity will drop over time. Click for more.

What is Considered Normal Wear and Tear on Street Wheels?

Wear on wheels can vary depending on their durometer, how they are used, and what sort of surfaces they are used on. Click for more.

Why don’t the motors stop at the same time?

Motors stopping at different times is normal. The main factor is the resistance from the drivetrain usually caused by different belt tensions.

Board Power Light - flashing or solid?

GTR = always solid or off. GT = always flashing or off. If you are experiencing anything different from the above, it may indicate that there is an issue in the electrics

Can You Charge Your Evolve Board Overnight?

The charger has an automatic cut-off when the board is fully charged, however, we recommend unplugging it as soon as it's charged as a precaution.
