Why Won’t My Series 1 GTR or Stoke Connect to the Remote?Updated 9 days ago

If you have a Series 1 GTR or a Series 1 Stoke and notice that the power button is flashing blue when you turn your board on — and your remote will not connect — this usually indicates a motor controller issue.

In almost all cases, this is not a problem with your remote or your pairing process. A flashing blue light on a Series 1 board means the motor controller is not communicating properly, and unfortunately, it will likely need to be replaced.

What You Should Do:

    •    Do not continue trying to re-pair or reset the remote, as it will not resolve the issue.

    •    Reach out to our Tech Team for assistance. We’ll guide you through confirming the motor controller concern and discuss the next steps for replacing it.

Important:

If your board turns on normally (solid blue light) and the remote still won’t connect, it could be another issue. But if the board is flashing blue, it’s almost always the motor controller.

We know it’s never fun dealing with a board issue — but the good news is we’ll help get it sorted quickly so you can get back riding.
