You can purchase a Phaze remote and it will work with your GTR Series 1.

However, you cannot upgrade a GTR Series 1 motor controller to the EFOC 2.0 system. The GTR Series 1 uses an EFOC 1.0 motor controller design that is not compatible with the newer EFOC 2.0 hardware.
