If you’re seeing a prompt asking for a Bluetooth code, here’s the reason:
You’re likely trying to connect your board directly through your phone’s Bluetooth settings, which won’t work.


❌ Don’t pair through your phone’s Bluetooth menu

Whether you’re using an iPhone or Android, do not search for your board in Bluetooth settings.
Doing this will trigger a pairing code prompt, which doesn’t apply to Evolve boards.


✅ How to pair correctly

You need to pair your board using the Explore by Evolve app, not your phone’s Bluetooth settings.

  1. Download the Explore by Evolve app (from the App Store or Google Play)

  2. Open the app and follow the pairing steps within the app

  3. Make sure the board is powered on before pairing


🔄 Important pairing limitations

Your board cannot be paired to the app and the Phaze remote at the same time and the board.

  • If you want to connect to the app to your board for customisation, you’ll need to disconnect the Phaze remote first

  • If you want to ride, disconnect the app and re-pair the Phaze remote

Only two devices can connect at once—usually the board and one other (app or remote), not both at the same time
