How to Regrip Your Evolve Board

What You’ll Need

    •    Replacement grip tape (Evolve grip tape recommended)

    •    Stanley knife or sharp blade

    •    Flat tool (like a plastic card or metal scraper)

    •    Patience and a steady hand

Steps to Regrip Your Board

    1.    Remove the old grip

Carefully peel off the existing tape. If it’s stubborn, use a hairdryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive underneath.

    2.    Clean the deck surface

Wipe off any remaining glue or debris so the new tape sticks cleanly and evenly.

    3.    Line up the new grip tape

Take your time here. Lay it out to ensure it’s centred and properly aligned with the contours of your deck.

    4.    Apply and smooth it down

Starting from one edge, press the grip tape down firmly and smooth out air bubbles as you go.

    5.    Trim the edges

Use your blade to trim the excess tape neatly along the board’s outline. Go slow for a clean finish.

Once it’s on, you’re good to go. Your board will look sharper, feel grippier, and be ready for a new season of carving.
