📡 GT / GTX board won’t pair with the remote (blue light flashing)
If your GT or GTX board turns on and the blue light flashes, that’s completely normal — this is how GT/GTX boards behave during pairing.
If the board and remote are not pairing, here’s what to check.
✅ 1. Make sure you have the correct remote
If you recently purchased a new remote, confirm that it is the Phaze WiFi remote for GT and GTX boards.
⚠️ Important:
GT / GTX boards do NOT use Bluetooth.
If your remote shows a Bluetooth icon while trying to pair, you have the wrong remote (that is the Phaze Bluetooth version).
➡️ In that case, you’ll need to return or exchange it.
If you are using the correct WiFi model, move on to the next step.
✅ 2. Perform a Trigger Reset on the Remote
This often fixes pairing issues on GT/GTX boards.
🔧 Step-by-step: How to access the trigger reset screen or watch the video: https://youtu.be/X-OWFw-MiiY
Board OFF, remote ON
Double-click the ON/OFF button to open the menu
Scroll down to More Info using the DOWN / MODE2 button
Press ON/OFF to enter More Info

Double-click ON/OFF
Then quadruple-click DOWN/MODE2
You should now see the trigger calibration page

Pair the remote:
