Evolve has never offered gear drive systems. All Evolve boards use high-performance belt drive technology. This system includes interchangeable drive gears, which come in different sizes and tooth counts, allowing you to fine-tune performance for different wheels and terrain.

While the system involves gears, it’s important to know:

All boards are belt-driven — not gear-driven.

Belt drives offer smooth acceleration, a quieter ride, and greater flexibility in wheel choice compared to traditional gear drive setups.
