Why Don’t My Motors Stop at the Same Time?Updated 9 days ago
If you’ve noticed one motor on your board rolling a little longer than the other after throttle release — don’t stress. This is actually quite common and usually nothing to worry about.
What causes this?
There are a few variables that can lead to motors stopping at slightly different times:
🔧 Belt tension – Even a slight difference in how tight the belts are can affect roll.
🛞 Worn or dry bearings – One side might have more resistance than the other.
🧲 Motor tolerances – Each motor has its own magnetic properties and minor variances, even from the factory.
Unless you’re feeling serious resistance or drag when riding, it’s unlikely to be a problem. Once your weight is on the board, the motors sync up under load and you won’t feel any difference.
Bottom line?
If the board rides smooth and feels balanced underfoot, you’re all good. If you’re unsure or want help double-checking, feel free to reach out to our tech team.
