The GTR Series 2 comes standard with Surge gears, but it’s important to note that these are the original Surge gears, not the newer SuperCarve 2 Surge gears.

🔍 Important compatibility notes

• The GTR Series 2 does not use SuperCarve 2 gears as standard

• 66T CNC SuperCarve 2 gears will NOT fit a stock GTR Series 2

• 58T SuperCarve 2 gears will also NOT fit a stock GTR Series 2

This is because SuperCarve 2 gears are designed specifically for SuperCarve 2 trucks and axle assemblies, which are different from the GTR Series 2’s standard setup.

To use SuperCarve 2 CNC gears (58T or 66T) on a GTR Series 2, you would need to upgrade to:

• SuperCarve 2 trucks

• SuperCarve 2 motor plates

• Matching SuperCarve 2 gears
