My R2 remote shows a white screen and won’t turn onUpdated 2 days ago

If your R2 remote is stuck on a white screen and has become unresponsive, this usually means an incorrect firmware update has been applied.


What happened?

The R2 remote is not compatible with any firmware updates available through the Evolve App. These updates are designed only for the Phaze remote. If the app was used to install a firmware intended for the Phaze into an R2 remote, it will cause the R2 to become bricked (non-functional).


Unfortunately, there is no at-home fix for this issue.
