Having Trouble with Your BMX Battery?Updated 9 days ago
If your Project BMX battery isn’t turning on, won’t charge, or seems unresponsive, don’t stress. We’ll help you sort it out.
In most cases, battery issues on the BMX are due to a low or disconnected battery, but unlike our electric skateboards, there’s no motor controller inside the BMX frame to troubleshoot.
Because of this, if your charger light turns green, the battery seems charged, but the bike won’t turn on, it may point to an issue within the battery itself.
Here’s what to do:
Double-check your connections – make sure the battery is seated and clicked in securely.
Try the charger again – confirm that the LED turns red when first plugged in (this shows it’s charging).
Still no luck?
This one’s for the tech team.
