How to Change Speed Modes on Your Evolve RemoteUpdated a month ago

Your Evolve remote allows you to switch between different speed modes, giving you control over acceleration, top speed, and efficiency. Adjusting these modes based on your riding conditions can enhance your experience, whether you're cruising, carving, or pushing for max performance.

Changing Speed Modes

  1. Ensure your remote is paired with your board and in SAFE Mode.
  2. Press MODE to increase speed mode step by step, moving in this order:
    • ECO → SPORT → GTR/CORSA → CUSTOM
  3. Press MODE to decrease speed mode step by step, moving in reverse:
    • CUSTOM → GTR/CORSA → SPORT → ECO
  4. The remote will vibrate once with each mode change, and the current mode will be displayed on the screen.

Understanding Speed Modes

  • ECO Mode – Best for beginners and long rides. Maximises battery life by reducing power output.
  • SPORT Mode – A balance of power and efficiency, great for urban riding and mild inclines.
  • GTR/CORSA Mode – Full performance mode, delivering the highest acceleration and top speed.
  • CUSTOM Mode – Adjustable via the Explore by Evolve App, allowing you to fine-tune power delivery, acceleration curves, and braking response.

Pro Tips for Optimising Your Ride

  • Think of speed modes like gears on a bike – use SPORT or GTR/CORSA for acceleration and hills, then shift down to SPORT or ECO for a smoother cruise or descending.
  • Check your wheel and gear settings – incorrect settings can affect speed readings.
  • Monitor battery level – reduced power may occur at lower battery percentages.
  • Speed Limit Setting – if your speed display is yellow, the speed limiter may be enabled. Check your remote’s settings to adjust or disable it.

Switching speed modes correctly helps maximise performance while keeping you in control of your ride. If you experience any issues with speed changes, contact Evolve Tech Support for assistance.
