If you’ve got a Gen 1 GT Carbon board and the battery is bulging or no longer charging, it’s important to replace it with the correct type. These boards are only compatible with their original battery type — you can’t upgrade or switch to a newer model’s battery.

🔋 What battery do I need?

You’ll need a GT Series 1 battery made specifically for the Gen 1 GT Carbon board. This is the only battery that will fit the enclosure and work with the motor controller.

⚠️ Important:

• You cannot use a GTR battery or any other model’s battery in the GT board.

• Batteries are not cross-compatible across board generations or series.

• If your battery is bulging, stop using the board immediately and do not attempt to charge it. This is a safety risk.
