One Cell Lower Than the Others? Here’s What That MeansUpdated a month ago

If you’re checking your battery cell data and one cell is reading noticeably lower than the others, this may be a sign that the battery is starting to become unbalanced.

Your remote simply displays what the battery’s internal sensors are reporting — it’s not a fault of the remote itself. The important thing to watch is cell balance.

🔋 What to Look For:

  • One cell shown in red and below the others.

  • A variance greater than 0.1V between the lowest and highest cells.

If you see this, especially outside that 0.1V window, it’s a strong indicator that the affected cell is no longer maintaining proper voltage.

✅ What’s Considered Normal?

  • A voltage difference of 0.1V or less across all cells is considered healthy.

  • Green means the cell is within a safe range.

  • Red is a visual cue showing a cell outside the expected variance — not always a problem, but worth checking.

🛠 What To Do Next

If you’re unsure, please send us a photo of your cell data screen and our team can confirm next steps. If the variance is more than 0.1V and a cell is underperforming, it’s best to have the battery assessed.

Please complete our Work Authorisation & Return Form (WAF), and we’ll take care of the rest.
