One Cell Lower Than the Others? Here’s What That MeansUpdated 24 days ago
If you’re checking your battery cell data and one cell is reading noticeably lower than the others, this may be a sign that the battery is starting to become unbalanced.
Your remote simply displays what the battery’s internal sensors are reporting — it’s not a fault of the remote itself. The important thing to watch is cell balance.
🔋 What to Look For:
One cell shown in red and below the others.
A variance greater than 0.1V between the lowest and highest cells.
If you see this, especially outside that 0.1V window, it’s a strong indicator that the affected cell is no longer maintaining proper voltage.
✅ What’s Considered Normal?
A voltage difference of 0.1V or less across all cells is considered healthy.
Green means the cell is within a safe range.
Red is a visual cue showing a cell outside the expected variance — not always a problem, but worth checking.
🛠 What To Do Next
If you’re unsure, please send us a photo of your cell data screen and our team can confirm next steps. If the variance is more than 0.1V and a cell is underperforming, it’s best to have the battery assessed.
Please complete our Work Authorisation & Return Form (WAF), and we’ll take care of the rest.
