Pivot cups play a crucial role in the performance and feel of your double kingpin trucks. Over time, they may wear down and require replacement. Follow these steps to remove and install new pivot cups properly.

Removing the Pivot Cups

1. Disassemble the Top Section
   • Remove the top kingpin nut, strut, washer, and bushing.
   • Keep the bottom kingpin nut secure to prevent the truck arm from moving.
2. Extract the Pivot Cup
   • Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry the pivot cup out of the truck arm.
   • If needed, grab the edge with pliers and pull it out completely
   • Tip: Finding the right angle with the screwdriver makes removal easier.
3. Installing a New Pivot Cup
4. Press the new pivot cup into the truck arm, ensuring a snug fit.
5. Apply a small amount of general-purpose grease to the inner surface of the pivot cup for smooth movement.
6. Remove the bottom kingpin nut, washer, and bushing, then repeat the process for the lower pivot cup.
7. Reassembly

• Reverse the steps to reinstall the truck components in the correct order.
• Ensure all nuts and bolts are properly secured before riding.
