If you’re riding your board in Custom mode and it suddenly switches to Sport mode at 5% battery, you’re not imagining things — this is expected behaviour due to a firmware limitation.

Here’s what’s happening:

• In Custom mode, once the battery drops to 5%, the system will automatically switch to Sport mode.

• This happens regardless of how gentle or low-powered your custom settings are.

• It’s a built-in firmware behaviour and currently cannot be turned off or changed.

How to avoid this:

• Use ECO mode if you want to prevent mode changes at low battery.

• ECO mode will keep its settings even when the battery drops.

We know it’s not ideal, especially if you’ve set up a milder Custom mode for smoother control, but for now, using ECO mode is the safest option when your battery gets low. If anything changes in future firmware updates, we’ll be sure to let you know.
