GT - Motor ConcernsUpdated 2 years ago

If both motors do not work, but the remote and board are connected, check the Remote Concerns article followed by the Board Errors article.

ONE Board Concern

If you have the ONE board with a single motor and it isn't working, contact our tech support team.

Single Motor Concern on a Dual Setup

If one motor isn't working or is working intermittently, follow the steps below to troubleshoot.

Check the hall sensors for debris by looking into the vents on the non-drive side of the motor (if you motor is vented). Locate the three sets of three pins (you may need to rotate the wheel by hand to expose them). Ensure there is no dirt or debris. If there is, clean with compressed air or lightly with a wooden toothpick.

If the hall sensors look clean or your motors don't have vent holes, perform a motor diagnostic with the video below. If you have a Bamboo board, undo the 8 bolts in the top of the deck to drop the battery case before starting the video.

When you have isolated the concern to a motor or motor controller, contact our tech support team with details and the diagnostic steps you have completed.
