Yes — it is possible to switch between the 250W road-compliant firmware and the standard 500W firmware, and vice versa.

🔧 How the firmware change works

At the moment, the firmware update needs to be done by our team, as it cannot yet be completed remotely by the rider.

You have a few options:

• Bring the bike into store if you’re nearby
• Send the full bike in for the update
• Or, if you’re comfortable, remove the motor and send that in

We’re currently working on an over-the-air (OTA) update solution, which will allow you to switch firmware without needing to send anything in.
