One Motor Not Operating or Working Intermittently
Please find instructions below to perform a Motor Diagnosis for Hadean.
1. Note which motor is of concern.
2. Begin by undoing the bolts that hold the P-clips in place, this will be the two front bolts of the rear truck as per the images below (not applicable to Hadean).
3. Pull apart both motor connectors.
4. Swap both connectors over so that the motors are connected to the opposite output.
5. Raise the board to ensure the wheels/motors are not contacting the ground (do not ride the board).
6. Run the board as before taking note of the following:
- Does the same motor still have a concern?
- Does the concern move to the other motor?
- Has the concern disappeared?
Did the concern stay with the same motor?
- Stayed with the same motor: motor
- Changed motors: motor controller
Once you have isolated the concern, contact our tech support team with the details and the diagnostic steps you have completed.
