Step-by-Step Diagnosis
1. Identify the Issue
- Is the motor not spinning?
- Is it making unusual noises (grinding, clicking, or high-pitched whines)?
- Is one motor weaker or less responsive than the other?
2. Swap the Motor Connections
- Power off the board.
- Disconnect the motor cables and swap them to the opposite outputs.
- Lift the board (wheels off the ground) and test throttle input.
3. Assess the Results
- If the same motor is still faulty, the issue is likely with the motor itself.
- If the problem moves to the other motor, the motor controller could be the issue.
- If the problem disappears, check for a loose connection and reassemble.
