Step-by-Step Diagnosis

1. Identify the Issue

  • Is the motor not spinning?
  • Is it making unusual noises (grinding, clicking, or high-pitched whines)?
  • Is one motor weaker or less responsive than the other?

2. Swap the Motor Connections

  • Power off the board.
  • Disconnect the motor cables and swap them to the opposite outputs.
  • Lift the board (wheels off the ground) and test throttle input.

3. Assess the Results

  • If the same motor is still faulty, the issue is likely with the motor itself.
  • If the problem moves to the other motor, the motor controller could be the issue.
  • If the problem disappears, check for a loose connection and reassemble.
