Hadean Bamboo - Board Doesn't Turn On or Switch Light FlashesUpdated a month ago

If your Hadean Bamboo isn’t turning on or the power switch light is flashing, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Step 1: Check if the Board is Charging

Plug the board into the charger and observe the LED and fan:

  • Green light – The charger is powered but not actively charging.
  • Red light & fan turns on – The board is actively charging.
  • Green light after charging – The board is fully charged.

If the LED stays green when you plug the charger in, the battery may not be accepting charge. This suggests the BMS is recognising the battery, but there could be an issue with the motor controller. If this happens, contact tech support.

If the board doesn’t take charge at all or you suspect it’s completely flat, refer to our Board Doesn’t Charge article for further steps.

Step 2: Test the BMS and Motor Controller

To further isolate the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Turn the board upside down.
  2. Remove the top of the motor controller.
  3. Power the board on.
  4. Look for a red LED inside the motor controller.
    • If the red LED lights up, the BMS is on, and the battery is likely fine. The issue may be motor controller related—contact tech support.
    • If there is no red LED, the BMS may not be delivering power, indicating a possible battery issue. Contact tech support.

Step 3: Still Not Working?

If you've tried these steps and the board still won’t turn on, reach out to our tech support team with the following details:

  • Order number or proof of purchase
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Photos/videos of the battery connection and motor controller

We’ll help you get back up and riding as soon as possible. 🚀
