GTR Bamboo Series 1 - Fluctuating Battery PercentageUpdated a month ago

If your battery percentage isn’t dropping in 1% increments, jumps up and down, or suddenly drops to 0%, here’s what you need to check.

Drops in Large Increments

If the battery percentage drops in chunks (e.g., 80% to 60%) and doesn’t recover, this may indicate a deeper issue. Contact our tech support team for further diagnosis.

Drops from a Low Percentage to 0%

  • This can happen under heavy load or if the battery is aging.
  • If the battery voltage drops below a safe threshold, the system will automatically cut power to protect the cells.
  • The board will enter ECO mode to prevent over-discharge.

What to Do

  • Fully charge the board and test it again.
  • Avoid heavy acceleration or hill climbs when the battery is at a low percentage.
  • If the battery always dies at the same percentage, even with light riding, contact tech support.

Battery Percentage Fluctuates

This could be due to a loose connection. Ensure the power is OFF before checking.

Bamboo GTR / Stoke

  1. Remove the battery cover by undoing the 7 or 11 bolts in the gripped section of the deck.
  2. Disconnect the battery from the motor controller, then reconnect it. Ensure the connectors align properly with the guided arrows.
  3. Test the board.
